Former U.S. Olympic Diving Coach and
an early-era water show performer from the 1950s. Hobie worked with such
water show greats as; Bruce Harlan, Dick Kimball, Whitey Heart and
Charlie Diehl traveling the country earning a very modest living doing a
two-man, 7-act high dive show.
Hobie also shared a very emotional story
about his friendship with show diver Bruce Harlan and his loss. He tells of his
genuine love for his dearest and closest companion. For the first time,
he delves into the details of the tragedy that took Bruce's life. There
won't be a dry eye in the house! Hobie is also working on yet another
technical diving instruction manual.

Kimball. When their show was in the STL area, Jack
Buck (famed broadcaster for St. Louis Cardinals
Baseball) would announce shows for them. Jack Buck also introduces Hobie
