Acapulco Cliff Diving Champion and a
featured performer at the famed Steel Pier in Atlantic City NJ for many
years. He worked with John Bower for many years (their famous underwater 'Waiter' act) and was also very well known for his fabulous clown diving and
comedic skills.
John Carney did a lot in his career, but we
were very intrigued by the marvelous underwater waiter's act he
performed with John Bower back in the sixties. We'll expound on that and
many other facets of Mr. Carney's career in our upcoming History of
High Diving book; "The Color Of Water.

John is captured behind the scenes during his interview while reflecting upon the occasion when he was photographed with the
fabulous "Beatles" just before they became famous in America. He was
performing in a show in England at the time.
